## Why This Summit Matters

Housing is one of the most urgent challenges facing Lamoille County. It affects the workforce, businesses, neighbors, and the future of the community. For many low- and middle-income residents, finding safe and affordable housing has become increasingly out of reach. Initiated by the interfaith community, this summit brings together diverse stakeholders for a day of learning, conversation, and collaboration.

## Summit Objectives

1. Build a shared understanding of housing needs across Lamoille County, including middle- and low-income households and those experiencing homelessness.
2. Strengthen cross-sector relationships among government, nonprofit, business, and community partners.
3. Coordinate action by mapping current initiatives and identifying critical gaps.
4. Create urgency and shared commitment to a Housing First vision.
5. Move from conversation to action with clear, tangible next steps.
